What types of classes does United CPR offer?

We offer both in-person and blended certification classes, including BLS and First Aid CPR AED training across the U.S.

What’s the difference between in-person and blended learning classes?

In-person classes are led by a certified instructor at our training locations. Blended classes include an AHA online course completed at home, followed by a short in-person virtual skills check at a United CPR office with a live instructor via Zoom or Google Meet.

Are United CPR classes American Heart Association (AHA) compliant?

Yes. Every course follows official AHA guidelines and results in an AHA-approved certification card.

Do I need to buy the AHA online course separately?

Yes. For virtual classes, you must purchase and complete the AHA online course before attending your skills check. The course can be purchased directly at shopcpr.heart.org

How long does it take to get certified?

Virtual classes take about 1 hour to 1.5 hour, including the skills check. In-person classes last around 2 to 3 hours.

When will I receive my certification?

You’ll receive your AHA digital certification card by email the same day you complete your class.

How long is my certification valid?

All AHA certifications are valid for two years from the date of issue.

What if I need to reschedule my class?

You can reschedule once for free if requested at least 24 hours before your appointment. A $30 fee applies for late reschedules or no-shows.

What happens if I miss my class?

If you miss your class without notice, you’ll need to pay the $30 rescheduling fee to book a new session.
